Eleonora Testa, nata nel giugno 2004, inizia lo studio del violoncello con il padre all'età di 5 anni.
All'età di 10 anni inizia gli studi con Francesco Pepicelli. A soli 14 anni è stata la più giovane studentessa effettiva selezionata da Antonio Meneses allo Stauffer Center di Cremona. Nello stesso anno viene ammessa all'Accademia Chigiana, dove viene regolarmente selezionata per i concerti finali. È stata recentemente invitata a suonare nei concerti della stagione concertistica dell’Accademia nell’estate del 2022.
A partire dal 2023 frequenta il Master in Violoncello presso la Robert Schumann Hochschule di Düsseldorf nella classe di Pieter Wispelwey, dove ha vinto una borsa di studio annuale assegnata dal Rotary Club Düsseldorf.
All'età di 12 anni, nell'ambito del Ravenna Festival, è stata invitata da Giovanni Sollima ad eseguire il Concerto di Haydn in do maggiore nella Basilica di San Vitale a Ravenna. In molte altre occasioni si è esibita con l'orchestra, in Festival, stagioni e concerti finali di masterclass, eseguendo i Concerti di Haydn in do e re maggiore, il Concerto n. 1 di Saint-Saëns, il Concerto n. 7 di Boccherini in sol maggiore, le Variazioni rococò di Tchaikovsky, il Pezzo Capriccioso e, recentemente, la Sonata di Schubert in la minore con trascrizione per violoncello e archi.
Nello scorso luglio ha seguito il Concerto di Schumann in la minore con l’orchestra di Budweis a Biel (Svizzera).
Nel settembre 2019 Eleonora ha inaugurato la XIV edizione del prestigioso Festival Internazionale di Violoncello “Alfredo Piatti” di Bergamo in recital con il pianoforte. Nel febbraio 2020 ha aperto il concerto del Trio di Parma con un breve recital in un progetto promosso dalla Filarmonica Umbra al Teatro Secci di Terni. Nel giugno 2021 Eleonora è stata invitata ad inaugurare, con un recital per violoncello solo, la prima edizione del "Festival Janigro" a Montagano, chiuso da Antonio Meneses.
Recentemente Eleonora si è esibita per la Società Amici della Musica “Guido Michelli” di Ancona, selezionata dal M° Mario Brunello come migliore allieva della Masterclass da lui tenuta a San Ginesio. Nell’estate del 2023, Eleonora ha suonato il violoncello Stradivari Chigiano del 1672 in occasione del 140° anniversario delle relazioni diplomatiche tra Italia e Repubblica di Corea all'Accademia Chigiana. Nel gennaio 2024 ha tenuto un recital con pianoforte presso l'Istituto Italiano di Cultura del Cairo, invitata dal CIDIM e dall'Accademia Chigiana.
Eleonora è stata vincitrice assoluta di concorsi nazionali e internazionali a cui ha preso parte: nel febbraio 2020 ha vinto il primo premio al prestigioso “Janigro Junior Competition” in Croazia con il premio speciale “Award of the International Cultural Centre HGM in Grožnjan”. Tra gli altri importanti concorsi, ha vinto "Marco dall'Aquila" e "Chroma" (2015), "Riviera Etrusca" e "Anemos" (2016), "Città di Isola del Liri", "Dinu Lipatti" e "Melos"(2017), "Città di Latina" con premio speciale "Gianni Proietti" al miglior violoncellista, "Luigi Zanuccoli" (2018), Premio Crescendo "Città di Firenze" (2019).
Fin da giovanissima ha frequentato masterclass tenute da David Geringas, Mischa Maisky, Mario Brunello, Nicolas Altstaedt, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Giovanni Sollima, Enrico Bronzi, Giovanni Gnocchi, Umberto Clerici, Luigi Piovano, Enrico Dindo.
I suoi studi comprendono un importante progetto cameristico in duo e trio con pianoforte, che l'ha portata ad esibirsi in contesti di grande prestigio. Nel maggio 2019, ha eseguito il Dumky trio di Dvořák al Teatro Gonfalone di Roma, aprendo il recital di Ilya Grubert.
Dal 2020 Eleonora si esibisce stabilmente con il pianista Francesco Maria Navelli, formando l’Aither Duo. Il duo è stato invitato da importanti associazioni, tra cui l’Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti a Roma, l'Agimus di Perugia e Roma, la Fondazione William Walton e l’Associazione Bastia Classica. Nel 2021 il duo ha vinto una borsa di studio assegnata dal Rotary Club Salerno.
Eleonora suona un violoncello di scuola Ventapane, appartenuto ad Arturo Bonucci Senior e Arturo Bonucci Junior.

Eleonora Testa, born in June 2004, began studying the cello with her father at the age of 5.
At the age of 10, she started studying with Francesco Pepicelli. At only 14, she became the youngest active student selected by Antonio Meneses at the Stauffer Center in Cremona. In the same year, she was admitted to the Accademia Chigiana, where she was regularly chosen for the final concerts. She was recently invited to perform in the Academy’s concert season in the summer of 2022.
Since 2023, she has been attending the Master’s in Cello at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf in the class of Pieter Wispelwey, where she was awarded an annual scholarship by the Rotary Club Düsseldorf.
At the age of 12, within the Ravenna Festival, she was invited by Giovanni Sollima to perform Haydn’s C major Concerto in the Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna. On many other occasions, she has appeared as a soloist with orchestra, in festivals, concert seasons, and masterclass finals, performing Haydn’s Concertos in C and D major, Saint-Saëns’ Concerto No. 1, Boccherini’s Concerto No. 7 in G major, Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations and Pezzo Capriccioso, and more recently, Schubert’s Sonata in A minor in the transcription for cello and strings.
In July 2023, she performed Schumann’s Concerto in A minor with the Budweis Orchestra in Biel, Switzerland.
In September 2019, Eleonora inaugurated the 14th edition of the prestigious “Alfredo Piatti” International Cello Festival in Bergamo with a piano recital. In February 2020, she opened the concert of the Trio di Parma with a short recital in a project promoted by the Filarmonica Umbra at the Teatro Secci in Terni. In June 2021, she was invited to inaugurate, with a solo cello recital, the first edition of the “Janigro Festival” in Montagano, which was closed by Antonio Meneses.
Recently, Eleonora has performed for the Società Amici della Musica “Guido Michelli” of Ancona, having been selected by Maestro Mario Brunello as the best student of his masterclass in San Ginesio. In the summer of 2023, she played the 1672 Stradivari “Chigiano” cello on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and the Republic of Korea at the Accademia Chigiana. Her studies also include an important chamber music project in duo and trio with piano, which has brought her to perform in highly prestigious contexts. In May 2019, she performed Dvořák’s Dumky Trio at the Teatro Gonfalone in Rome, opening the recital of Ilya Grubert.
Since 2020, Eleonora has been performing regularly with pianist Francesco Maria Navelli, forming the Aither Duo. The duo has been invited by major associations such as the Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti in Rome, Agimus of Perugia and Rome, the William Walton Foundation, and the Bastia Classica Association. In 2021, the duo won a scholarship awarded by the Rotary Club Salerno.
Eleonora plays a Ventapane school cello, formerly owned by Arturo Bonucci Senior and Arturo Bonucci Junior.

Eleonora Testa, geboren im Juni 2004, begann im Alter von 5 Jahren das Cellospiel bei ihrem Vater.
Mit 10 Jahren setzte sie ihr Studium bei Francesco Pepicelli fort. Bereits mit 14 Jahren wurde sie als jüngste ordentliche Studentin von Antonio Meneses am Stauffer Center in Cremona aufgenommen. Im selben Jahr wurde sie an die Accademia Chigiana zugelassen, wo sie regelmäßig für die Abschlusskonzerte ausgewählt wurde. Im Sommer 2022 wurde sie eingeladen, in der Konzertsaison der Akademie aufzutreten.
Seit 2023 studiert sie im Masterstudiengang Violoncello an der Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf in der Klasse von Pieter Wispelwey, wo sie ein Jahresstipendium des Rotary Clubs Düsseldorf erhielt.
Im Alter von 12 Jahren wurde sie im Rahmen des Ravenna Festivals von Giovanni Sollima eingeladen, das Cellokonzert in C-Dur von Haydn in der Basilika San Vitale in Ravenna aufzuführen. Im Juli 2023 spielte sie das Cellokonzert in a-Moll von Schumann mit dem Orchester aus Budweis in Biel (Schweiz).
Im September 2019 eröffnete Eleonora die XIV. Ausgabe des renommierten Internationalen Cello-Festivals „Alfredo Piatti“ in Bergamo mit einem Klavierrezital. Im Februar 2020 eröffnete sie das Konzert des Trio di Parma mit einem kurzen Rezital im Rahmen eines Projekts der Filarmonica Umbra im Teatro Secci in Terni. Im Juni 2021 wurde sie eingeladen, mit einem Solo-Cellorezital die erste Ausgabe des „Janigro Festivals“ in Montagano zu eröffnen, das von Antonio Meneses beschlossen wurde.
